Tatiana Schofield, MSc, MBA, MCIM, Chartered Marketer
Tatiana Schofield is Managing Director of Synergy lab, an innovation management consultancy specialising in open innovation, knowledge transfer and technology commercialisation.
Tatiana has an MSc degree in Engineering from Moscow Power Engineering University and an MBA from Warwick Business School (UK) where she focused her dissertation on innovation strategy and knowledge transfer. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) and a Chartered Marketer. Tatiana also holds a position of Chair of the Greater London Regional Board, CIM.
Tatiana has over 20 years experience in research management, business development and training. She has held senior management roles at leading universities and professional bodies including the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), Kaplan Professional (part of Washington Post group), London Business School and, most recently, at Imperial College London.
Tatiana has hands-on experience in developing large-scale commercial projects, university-industry partnerships and bridging research and enterprise. Her expertise covers business growth strategies, innovation management and business models for technology start-ups.
Tatiana regularly speaks at conferences and delivers workshops and lectures on innovation management, open innovation strategies, research commercialisation, entrepreneurship and creativity. In 2012 she took Best Paper Award by SRA International for her research in knowledge transfer and university-industry partnership. Tatiana is currently working with the Triple Helix Association leading the development of the THA webinars series.
