Imperial 1851 Circle
Membership of the 1851 Circle is offered to celebrate the generosity of those supporters who give between £1,000 and £4,999 during the College's financial year.
The circle is named after Prince Albert’s vision for a new scientific and cultural quarter in South Kensington, of which Imperial College London is at the heart, and which was made possible following the success of the Great Exhibition of 1851.
Prince Albert was a champion of innovation and education, and was hugely influential in the development of Imperial – in the same way that our donors today are instrumental in helping to achieve the College’s vision to remain a world-leading institution for scientific research and education.
