Join one of the olded Judo clubs in the UK.

Imperial College Judo Club is the second oldest Judo Club in the UK. The British Judo Association (BJA) was founded here, along with the European Judo Union (EJU) - which later became the International Judo Federation (IJF) itself.

Imperial College Judo club one of the most successful university Judo clubs in the country and offer plenty of opportunities to fight around the UK, including the National Championships in Sheffield, university team and individual competitions throughout the year. They have a regular presence at the monthly gradings held at the Budokwai, and organise several visits to other judo clubs. There is even have the opportunity to compete worldwide at competitions hosted in Paris or South Korea.

Both the men's and women's team have generated sucesses - picking up medals at competitions such as the London Area Universities and Colleges Senior Open, the Warwick University Judo Championships, or the British Universities and Colleges Sport Judo Championships. Our beginners also have a lot of success (some of which trained all the way up to black belt standard) and are offered the opportunity to compete in dedicated beginners competitions to test and improve their skills. Members are always encouraged to participate to the competitions, no one is left behind.
